We are looking for a Senior On-Prem Platform & Security Engineer with strong hands-on experience in software development, Kubernetes, Linux, platform engineering and application security. The role involves developing and integrating microservices into an on-premises platform, implementing security controls across applications and infrastructure, and supporting deployments in air-gapped, restricted or appliance-based environment

• Develop and integrate secure microservices and REST APIs using Java or Go. • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes, Helm and Docker. • Troubleshoot Kubernetes, Linux, networking, storage, monitoring and logging issues. • Implement application and platform security using TLS, PKI, certificates, mTLS, authentication and authorization. • Manage secure credentials using Kubernetes Secrets, Sealed Secrets, Vault or similar tools. • Support credential generation, storage, rotation, backup and recovery. • Work with databases, Kafka or similar messaging platforms, including backup, recovery and migration activities. • Implement security and platform improvements across application code, Kubernetes manifests, Helm charts, Linux and CI/CD pipelines. • Support deployments in on-premises, air-gapped, appliance-based and restricted environments. • Collaborate with development, DevOps, security and testing teams to resolve technical issues and improve platform reliability.
