We are looking for a skilled Kafka Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in Apache Kafka administration, Confluent Platform, automation, and Infrastructure as Code. The candidate will be responsible for managing enterprise event streaming platforms, ensuring platform availability, scalability, and performance

Install, configure, administer, and maintain Apache Kafka clusters. Manage Confluent Kafka platform. Monitor and optimize Kafka performance. Implement automation using Terraform and Ansible. Build and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines. Perform Kafka upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning. Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis. Implement security, replication, backup, and disaster recovery. Collaborate with application teams for Kafka integration.

Strong hands-on experience in Apache Kafka Administration, including installation, configuration, cluster management, upgrades, and performance tuning. Proven expertise in managing Confluent Kafka and enterprise Event Streaming Platforms in production environments. Experience building and maintaining GitLab CI/CD Pipelines to automate infrastructure deployment and application releases. Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation and configuration management. Good understanding of Kafka security, replication, partitioning, high availability, disaster recovery, and capacity planning. Strong knowledge of Linux Administration, Shell scripting, and automation concepts for managing distributed environments. Experience monitoring Kafka clusters, troubleshooting production issues, and performing root cause analysis. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to support mission-critical enterprise platforms.
