For more than 34 years, I have led business transformation across pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, industrial products and logistics by combining strategy, technology and execution. My experience spans global supply chains, procurement, planning, logistics and enterprise operations, delivering growth, resilience and competitive advantage.

I have built global operating models, established planning organisations, transformed procurement and logistics, strengthened governance, and led digital and AI-enabled transformation programmes across complex international businesses. My focus is creating sustainable business value through better decisions, stronger capabilities and disciplined execution.

At Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, I led Global Logistics, Central Planning, Procurement Governance and Supply Chain Excellence across operations in 83 countries. I established a Global Central Planning Organisation, implemented Kinaxis, SAP APO and AI-enabled planning capabilities, consistently delivered significant year-on-year value creation, including more than ₹120 crore in a recent financial year, strengthened global trade compliance, and ensured business continuity during one of the most disruptive periods in modern global supply chains.

Most recently, as Global Head – SCM Procurement at Apollo Tyres, I led procurement transformation, strategic sourcing, commercial excellence and digitalisation initiatives that improved competitiveness and created sustainable value across global operations.

I believe competitive advantage will increasingly depend on enterprise decision systems rather than execution systems alone. AI, advanced analytics and digital technologies are reshaping how organisations plan, source, manufacture and serve customers.

Beyond my executive responsibilities, I contribute to industry and academia through advisory and leadership roles. I serve as Chairperson of the Academic Advisory Board at the CII Institute of Logistics, mentor startups through T-Hub, and participate in national industry forums.

I am the author of Strategic Value Chains: Unlocking Business Success in a Digital World, a Harvard Business Publishing case author, and a published researcher on supply chain resilience. My work has been recognised through honours including ET Now's India's Impactful Supply Chain Leaders Award, India's Top 25 Digitalist Thought Leaders recognition, the Transformational Supply Chain Leader Award, Pharma Supply Chain Man of the Year Award, and the Chairman's and Customs Excellence Awards.
