We are looking for a Senior Technical Architect to support the Technology Platforms (Tier Zero Infrastructure) domain within a leading banking environment. This role focuses on designing resilient, secure, and cloud-native infrastructure architectures, with strong alignment to networking, virtualization, containers, and security-first design. The architect will contribute to enterprise-wide standards, reusable blueprints, and high-quality solution delivery aligned with business, cost, and security objectives.

Design end-to-end secure, resilient, and scalable infrastructure architectures Define and enforce enterprise architecture standards and best practices Perform technical solutioning and security architecture for Tier Zero platforms Collaborate with Agile teams (Tribes & Squads) across infrastructure, platform, and security Ensure architecture balances performance, reliability, resiliency, security, and cost Review designs and contribute to reusable reference architectures Mentor junior architects and participate in architecture governance forums

Mandatory Technical Skills Infrastructure Architecture & Platforms Kubernetes on OpenShift (including KubeVirt) Virtualization technologies (OLVM, VMware or equivalent) Container platforms and cloud-native infrastructure Infrastructure as Code & Automation Terraform, Ansible Operating Systems Linux (RHEL, Oracle Linux) Windows Server, Active Directory Cloud Platforms Azure / AWS / OCI (minimum one cloud) Security Architecture Designing security controls into infrastructure Encryption, key management, secret management IAM (Identity & Access Management) Security logging, monitoring, and alerting Networking (Architecture-Level) Network segmentation, VLANs, routing Zero Trust network design concepts Compliance & Risk Regulatory awareness: PCI-DSS, GDPR, Banking regulations Threat modeling and security requirements
