We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer to design, develop, and maintain web applications and backend services. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with PHP frameworks, database design, and building scalable, secure web solutions.

Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and related frameworks Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards Build and consume RESTful APIs for integration with front-end applications and third-party services Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures (MySQL/PostgreSQL) Develop and maintain front-end integration using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery/AJAX Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks Ensure application security, including protection against SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF vulnerabilities Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and product owners to deliver high-quality features Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and version control practices (Git) Manage and optimize server-side caching, session handling, and application performance Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services as required Deploy and maintain applications on shared/cloud hosting environments (AWS, cPanel, etc.)

2–6 years of experience in PHP development (adjust based on seniority needed) Strong proficiency in PHP (PHP 7/8) and object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts Hands-on experience with PHP frameworks — Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony, or CakePHP Solid understanding of MySQL/PostgreSQL — database design, queries, indexing, optimization Experience with front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap Familiarity with RESTful API design and integration Experience with version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket) Understanding of MVC architecture and design patterns Knowledge of Composer, package management, and PHP dependency handling Experience with caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached) is a plus Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies Basic understanding of Linux server environment and deployment processes Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred, not mandatory)
