We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with 5–8 years of experience in product design and development, specifically in the appliance domain. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in CAD tools such as CREO and Unigraphics NX, along with hands-on experience in designing consumer appliances. You will be responsible for end-to-end mechanical design, from concept development to production support.

Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using CREO and Unigraphics NX. Work on end-to-end product design for consumer appliances, including concept creation, prototyping, and validation. Prepare detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, and BOMs (Bill of Materials). Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, manufacturing, and quality teams. Conduct design reviews, tolerance analysis, and feasibility studies. Ensure designs meet functional, cost, manufacturability, and quality requirements. Support product testing, troubleshooting, and design modifications. Follow industry standards, compliance, and safety regulations. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for part development and tooling.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 5–8 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in appliance or consumer product industry. Strong proficiency in CREO and Unigraphics NX (UG NX). Experience in appliance design (mandatory). Good understanding of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, sheet metal, and machining. Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
