We are seeking an experienced Databricks Developer to act as an Interviewer for technical evaluations. The role requires deep expertise in data engineering, PySpark, and Databricks development workflows, along with the ability to assess candidates’ coding, architecture, and problem-solving capabilities.

Conduct technical interviews for Databricks Developer roles across levels. Evaluate candidates’ skills in PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, and data transformation pipelines. Assess understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and performance tuning within Databricks. Review code samples and test candidates’ ability to write scalable and efficient Databricks notebooks. Document feedback and provide structured evaluations. Partner with hiring managers to ensure interview quality and consistency.

8+ years of total experience in data engineering or development, with 3+ years in Databricks. Strong command over PySpark, Spark SQL, Delta Lake, and data frame APIs. Proficiency in data pipeline design, ETL development, and data lake architecture. Familiarity with Azure / AWS Databricks, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git). Hands-on experience in performance optimization, job orchestration, and error handling. Excellent communication skills and prior experience conducting technical interviews is a plus.
