We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator with strong hands-on experience in MySQL and MongoDB to manage, maintain and optimize production database environments. The candidate will be responsible for database availability, performance, backup/recovery, replication and troubleshooting.

Install, configure, administer and maintain MySQL and MongoDB databases. Monitor database health, performance, capacity and availability. Perform query optimization, indexing and database performance tuning. Manage database backup, restore and recovery activities. Configure and manage replication, high availability and failover. Troubleshoot database performance, connectivity and availability issues. Manage MongoDB Replica Sets, Sharding and replication. Perform database upgrades, patching and regular maintenance. Monitor database logs and proactively identify potential issues. Implement database security, access controls and appropriate permissions. Work closely with application/development teams on database-related issues and performance improvements. Support production incidents and ensure minimal database downtime. Maintain database documentation, operational procedures and best practices.
