We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Resilience & Reliability Engineering Tools team. In this role, you will design and build cloud-native platforms and AI-powered automation that help our engineering and operations teams detect, diagnose, and resolve issues faster. You'll work at the intersection of backend engineering, cloud infrastructure, and applied AI — building agentic workflows and LLM-based assistants that integrate directly with our incident management and observability ecosystem.

Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems, APIs, and microservices on AWS/Azure Develop AI-enabled automation and agentic workflows using frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, or OpenAI Build LLM-based assistants to support incident triage, root-cause analysis, and automated remediation Integrate automation tooling with ServiceNow (ITIL processes: Problem, Incident, Change Management), Jira, Splunk, Datadog, and PagerDuty Design and expose REST APIs via API Gateway for internal and cross-team consumption Build dashboards and reporting tools to surface reliability metrics and automation outcomes Collaborate with SRE, DevOps, and platform teams to identify automation opportunities that reduce MTTR and manual toil Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following modern software engineering practices

Strong software engineering experience with cloud-native application development Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure; exposure to Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or similar frameworks Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or TypeScript Experience designing APIs, microservices, and scalable backend systems Practical experience with AI-enabled automation, agentic workflows, or LLM-based assistants Familiarity with ServiceNow (ITIL, PM/IM/CM, Automation, Dashboard creation), Jira, Splunk, Datadog, or PagerDuty Experience with API Gateway and REST API design Bonus: DevOps or allied skills (CI/CD, containerization, infrastructure automation)
